Web Content Management System (WCMS) | Analysis Project Report

Web Content Management System (WCMS) is a relatively new concept, and while many people are still not familiar with it, it facilitates web content creation, editing, control and many essential web maintenance functions. For a user who has little or no knowledge of programming languages or markup languages, it is a way to create and manage content with relative ease. For organizations and companies, it helps release the workload of maintaining websites and intranets, and also by distributing the work. By using a WCMS, non-technical users only need to focus on their web content and not the appearance, since web templates can automatically be applied to new and existing web pages.
In this master thesis possible usability problems in the user interface and the work process of a Web Content Management System are identified and analyzed.
This project report will help to define a role in the system to fill the gap between single page editing and full administration possibilities.

Presentation Report on ROLE OF INFORMATION SYSTEM IN AN ORGANIZATION

This presentation report illustrates the overall significance and the need of an Information System for the organizations. The IS (Information System) plays a major role in the organization by satisfying the diverse needs through a variety of systems such as Query systems, Analysis systems, Modeling systems and Decision support systems. Companies now switch to MIS Departments because MIS Department satisfies their needs in a broader way. Managing the Information Systems is the basic key factor of an MIS Department and this presentation report describes this;

A Short Project on e-Recruitment

The word e-Recruitment means using Information Technology (IT) to gain high momentum in the recruitment process. E-Recruitment process ranges from the advertising of posts, handling with job applications and to the back office processes. In HR (Human Resource), e-Recruitment is widely used now a day.

APPLYING UML AND PATTERNS: Free Book

Applying UML and Petterns is a free book available in soft form for all. Face it, most object-oriented designers don't really get a chance to do a full object-oriented analysis and design cycle. This may be due to a lack of training, time, budget or the complexity of the process itself. Against this backdrop, Craig Larman's book is, quite simply, a landmark event in the object-oriented training world. Craig Larman's well known in the field of IT(Information Technology). He writes many books in different IT(Information Technology) filed.

Project: APPLYING USE CASE DRIVEN OBJECT MODELING

This project; Applying Use Case Driven Object Modeling with UML an Annotated e-Commerce. This project includes an practical example, hands-on guide to putting use case methods to work in real-world situations of Information Technology world. It bridges the gap between the theory presented in the main book and the practical issues involved in the development of an Internet e-commerce application.

INTRODUCTION ON SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Complete Project

In Information Technology, Software Development holds a major role, because its all about the software. This project indicates the key areas of Software Development like;
Development Process
Establish requirements clearly.
Plan design of program carefully.
Follow design, coding, and documentation guidelines.
Changes made late in the life cycle are much more expensive than those made early. Putting an extra effort into program development will likely reduce the building and maintenance costs significantly.

ORDER TRACKING SYSTEM

SITARA TEXTILE has received and issued material for the different projects that were given to work on. Therefore, they need computerized system to keep the records of their materials. Thus, I analyze the whole manual system and information; I met the Chief Executive of the organization, who has guided me in every efficient manner.
OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF WORK:
I identify all goals i.e. the broad based objectives and specific objectives. I concentrated my attention on the operation of then system to identify the system’s data and function that use the data to generate information, and scope of the work is covered in well manner.

E-BUSINESS:

In the emerging global economy, e-business have increasingly become a necessary component of business strategy and a strong catalyst for economic development. The integration of information and communications technology (ICT) in business has revolutionized relationships within organizations and those between and among organizations and individuals. Specifically, the use of ICT in business has enhanced productivity, encouraged greater customer participation, and enabled mass customization, besides reducing costs.

eCRM IN B2B MARKET

The potential risk factors in CRM implementation can cause serious failures either in project phase or in go-live phase. To eliminate, prevent or control these risk factors, they have to be identified and classified. The readiness dimensions for CRM are the categorized dimensions that their definitions are based on the problematic nature of the several risk factors.

QUALITY OF THE OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE

In our society it is known that there is no difference between free and open source software. But we should understand that licenses which are awarded to the related software make them differ from other type of software. Free software normally gets the licenses from General Public License (GPL) and open source software gets it from GPL or from other type of license authority. We know that there are two famous types of general Open Source Licenses. First is called “General Public License” and other one is know by “Berkeley Software Distribution license”.
This projects deals with the qualities of open source softwares.

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS

The aim of this thesis work was to develop a management information system model for process-oriented healthcare organisations. The study explores two questions: “What kinds of requirements do healthcare managers place on information systems?” and “How can the work and information systems of healthcare managers and care providers be incorporated into process-oriented healthcare organisations?”

IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Healthcare organizations now consider increased efficiency, reduced costs, improved patient care and quality of services, and safety when they are planning to implement new information and communication technology (ICT) based applications. However, in spite of enormous investment in health information systems (HIS), no convincing evidence of the overall benefits of HISs yet exists.

The publishing of studies that capture the effects of the implementation and use of ICT-based applications in healthcare may contribute to the emergence of an evidence based health informatics which can be used as a platform for decisions made by policy makers, executives, and clinicians.

EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

This report includes a development presentation of an information system for managing the staff data within a small company or organization. The system as such as it has been developed is called Employee Management System. It consists of functionally related GUI (application program) and database.

The choice of the programming tools is individual and particular.

DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING IN PEER-TO-PEER

Concepts like peer-to-peer networks and distributed computing are not new. They have been available in different forms for a long time. This thesis examines the possibility of merging these concepts. The assumption is that non-centralized peer-to-peer networks can be used for effective sharing of computing resources. While most peer-to-peer systems today concentrate on sharing of data in various forms, this thesis concentrates on sharing of clock cycles instead of files.

DATA WAREHOUSE MAINTAINANCE

Data warehouses collect and organize historical business data so it can be analyzed to assist management in making business decisions. To achieve this purpose, the data warehouse is created and initially loaded with the existing historical business data. It is then periodically updated with new data from operational data systems. Much of the effort in data warehouse maintenance is involved with updating the data in the data warehouse, adjusting data presentation applications to incorporate new data, and updating data marts.

COMMUNICATION TOOLS TO BUILD WEB TRAFIC

With the rapid development of Internet, online business companies are increasing in number. In B2C companies, traffic building to website is a major concern of the top manager and it is the key point for success. The process involves using offline and online communication tools to drive or attract visitor traffic to company web site. The purpose of this thesis is to provide a deeper understanding of the different communication tools used by companies to build traffic to their website and measures they adopt to improve the effectiveness of these tools.

ARCHITACTURAL SYSTEM

In this study we will examine how to build a design to one of the possibility of this kind of next level technology and how feasible this would be. We have studied theories of virtual organizations and marketplaces and combined these theories and designed a model for Information System based on our findings. We think that there are needs to study these kinds of information systems, because these combine the benefits of virtual organization and marketplaces.
