Project Report on Practice of Supply Chain Management (SCM) | Supply Chain Management

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the management of a network of interconnected businesses involved in the ultimate provision of product and service packages required by end customers. Supply Chain Management spans all movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption (Wikipedia). Supply Chain Management has become a standard part of the business glossary, and many firms now have a functional Supply Chain Management department. This project report illustrates the concept and practices in first part of this document later on author describe different roles played by Supply Chain Management performance on the overall health of company.
